Dana Hart--Director and Instructor
Ms. Hart graduated from Ball State University with a  Bachelor of Science in Dance Performance.  While dancing with Ball State Dance Theatre, she attended the American College Dance Festival and both Mid-States and National Ballet Festivals.  In 1994 she received the Craft of Choreography Scholarship from Dance Magazine. 

Her performing experience includes:  Anderson Young Ballet Theatre, Kalamazoo Ballet Company, Indianapolis Civic Theatre, TyeGo Modern Dance Chicago and Motus Dance Theatre in Indianapolis.  She has performed and taught throughout the Chicago area.  Her choreography has been performed at the 
Dance Chicago Festival.  Her most influential teachers include Lou Ann Young, Lyn Elam, Birute Barodicaite and Therese Chatelaine. 

Ms. Hart has 18 years  teaching experience.  Several of her students have gone on to study dance in college including the Alvin Ailey School in New York and to dance professionally with Dance Kaleidoscope and Georgia Ballet.  For the past eight years, Ms. Hart has taught for the Dance Magnet at Indianapolis Public School's Broad Ripple Magnet High School for the Performing Arts.
